I am from Paraguay and enjoy writing short stories and fanfics using diverse styles. I have a FanFiction account, if you ever feel like checking it out. My user name there is Velkan Nobody (and I just found out that my beta-reader has an account here too - it's Arbarano). You can call me Velkan,Vel, or SweetHeartagram; honestly, I'm okay with any of the three. As you may have probably noticed by my signature, I really like heartagrams. It has got to be one of the greatest emblems ever designed!
There's really not much to say about me: I like soccer, The Big Bang Theory (Sheldon ftw!), horror movies, metal bands (HIM, Within Temptation, Black Veil Brides, Nightwish, etc.), Stephen King books, Dark Shadows (I think there's a movie coming out soon... starring Johnny Depp as Barnabas! ), and, last but far from least, The Lion King!
I have always loved TLK, but my recent "passion" (I think it's a much better word than "obsession"
) begun about a year ago, under the oddest circumstances you can imagine. We were supposed to have a Chemistry class on a Wednesday (I even remember the day, can you believe that? 
), but since it was November and summer vacations were approaching, we started whining like three-year-olds about not wanting to have class. Instead, we asked our teacher (who, luckily, was kind of a pushover) if we could watch an "educational" movie. I don't know how we ended up watching TLK, but it's a good thing we did! What impressed me the most is all the stuff I'd missed out on when I watched it for the first time (I was in 1st or 2nd grade back then, and my English was awful). I can't put into words what I felt after watching it years later; the movie simply blew me away, I guess.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to sharing my fanfics with you!
