My Lion King Forum

Hello, I have been a fan of The Lion King ever since I first saw it in the theaters in 1994. I have been obsessed with it ever since and I mean obsessed. I'm not sure if I am truely AS becuase I did not speak until I was four or so. Anyhow people with autism, espicaly AS get obsessed with things and Lion King is my obsession. Meerkats are my main obsession and as you probably guessed Timon was the genesis for my meerkat obsession. Lion King is my number two obsession. When I was a kid, I litteraly refused to talk about anything not related to TLK. I guess I will fit right in here.

Though, I don't think that an obsession means you have AS.

Probably but most people I know in real life claim to be obsessed with certian things don't drive others crazy with their "obsessions". My parents would tell me they needed breaks from me talking about certian subjects. I doubt your parents never required a break from you talking about Lion King or something. My dad drives my mom and I crazy about Fox News and Glen Beck but then my dad definatly would have been diagnosed with AS if he were a kid today. From what I have expirenced, "normal" people do not expirence obsessions with obscure topics.

I'm InvaderMeer on Leahalalela too. I'm also known by that user name on Lilymud but I basicaly left that form because for a Lion King form, they rarely talk about Lion King.

If you really wanna know, you should go to a psychologist.
I don't wanna be rude, but I know that many people in the internet pretend to have AS i-don't-know-why when they really don't.
I don't mean you're one of them though
