Been thinking about this one for awhile. Anyone interested in this idea?

Plot:

Cub Simba finds Tarzan's jungle and is sort of taken into the family the same way Tarzan was. Kala would raise Simba & Tarzan to adulthood. Simba, Tarzan, Tantor, and Terk would grow up being friends. Then Nala & Rafiki would show up to get Simba to come back. Tarzan could go to help Simba win back the Pridelands or his film plays out leaving him to protect his family from Clayton, meet Jane, etc. OCs are welcome as well.

I like idea one.

Cool. Now that I think of it more people have probably seen the lion king films and tarzan films. But very few have probably seen the series. So maybe sticking to idea one would be better. Removed the second idea. Using the first one for the plot.

Could I be Simba?

Sure. Hmm so should it be lion king focused? Cause we could have the rp end like a couple weeks before Jane, and the others arrive. Or if we include them it would mean Simba would be going off with just Nala and Rafiki to stop Scar.

We have another issue: how they meet. TLK is set in east Africa while Tarzan is set in west Africa.

True. Hmm. How about he's a rogue/nomad wandering around and eventually finds Tarzan's jungle? Or finds an oc that leads him there?

Perhaps some more thought is in order?

Hey, why not have it that the Oasis is really the jungled part of africa. Also I'm in if we do this.

First we resolve Simba's story, with the pride staying in the jungle while The Pridelands recover, then Jane, The Professer and Clayton arrive.

I also got a Tarzan OC I've been dying to play as.
