Title: What If?

Story: What if Zira was Mufasa's sibling and Scar was not part of the story? It starts with them as cubs during Ahadi and Uru's rule and goes through their lives into adulthood, featuring the pride's trials and tribulations, ultimately ending at the births of Simba and Nala.

NOTE: Zira's birth name is Bianca and she is called this until she receives her ear hole in a fight during her teen years.

Ok, you're in. She becomes how she was in the film gradually though. As a cub, she still has a slightly aggressive attitude and rage against a female cub who likes to pick on her.

I'd love to be Sarabi. Seems like a great story.

Ok, you're in. Her personality is exactly the same. She and Mufasa are betrothed as cubs.

Regarding Ahadi and Uru, in this version, Ahadi was Mohatu's son and heir, and Uru was the daughter of the Selfish Lion who eventually fell in love with him and helped to stop the war between their prides. Ahadi makes the mistake of playing favorites and favoring Mufasa, starting Zira down the path of hate.

Regarding Sarafina, she is the daughter of a princess from another pride and one of Ahadi's male friends. She eventually falls in love with a rogue named Shujaa and has Nala with him. Her half-royal blood is one of the reasons Nala is chosen to be Simba's mate.
