Ok, since my other RP seems to have hit a snag, I decided to make a back-up story. I've seen many people have Uru be the child of Mohatu, so to be a tad different, I decided to see what things might be like if Ahadi were Mohatu's son and Uru was the daughter of the Selfish Lion. Both are adolescents at this point. Uru is totally against what her father is doing.

Title: The Previous Generation

Story: This is an improved version of the story of "The Brightest star" in which, as I said above, Ahadi is the son of Mohatu and Uru is the daughter of the Selfish Lion. Mohatu has made the law regarding how much the animals can drink during the drought, and Ahadi, notorious for his hotheadedness, attempts to enforce this rule. It is during the course of these attempts that he meets Uru, who he learns is the daughter of the selfish lion that Mohatu has recently confronted. During the course of these events, Ahadi and Uru begin to fall in love. Ahadi asks Mohatu to get her as his mate and future queen, but he refuses upon learning who her father is. When the Selfish Lion begins to challenge Mohatu for the throne, it is up to Ahadi and Uru to stop the fighting. The story continues as Ahadi and Uru grow into adults, begins to wrap up with the birth and presentation of Mufasa and ends with the birth of Taka and Ahadi's rejection of him due to him being born scrawny and sickly.

Kopalover: Sure you can. I have gone ahead and named her Harufu (Swahili for "fragrance") so we have a name to call her by.

Now we just need to cast Choyo and his mate (and come up with a name for her) and then we can get going. Once we're ready, I'll give a little post showing how the RP starts out.

All right, since it was a short cast list, I decided to also play Choyo and his mate, since she is sort of a minor character in the story. Her name is Mahiri, a Swahili word meaning clever (it was used since she's a clever lioness who is against her mate's foolishness).

As for how this starts, I'll begin it with Ahadi entering the den and telling Mohatu of the situation at the waterhole. Then, in a bit, Ahadi will meet Choyo and then Uru. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
