DW/TLK crossover

Maybe you saw this coming, maybe you didn't
Anyhow, me and Nakisisa have been plotting to do this RP for quite some time now, so here we are: a Doctor Who/Lion King crossover.
The basic plot is that the (10th) Doctor and his companion, Amy Pond, visit the oldest planet in the Universe - Planet 1. Here there is a cliff of pure diamond and according to legend there is writing on this cliff, a message from the dawn of time, and no one knows what it says because no one has ever translated it.
The Doctor and Amy travel in the TARDIS to translate the writing but when they land they find that this writing is in fact a trap - a spell to turn them into lions and causes the TARDIS's power source to scatter.
This was a plot by the "Cheetah People", to disable the Doctor and steal the TARDIS's powersource to use for their invention: a type of weapon that "could be beamed across the galaxy and make all life into good prey" for their hunting enjoyment. All that was missing was a power source, and that's where they got the idea of luring the Doctor in and steal the power source from his precious TARDIS. By using their spell, he would too be made into prey, thus unable to stop them. Or not...? Though a mistake was made, since neither party knows where exactly the power source went.
The Cheetah People can travel between planets and have made Planet 1 their personal hunting grounds. They hunt without mercy, for fun. It is a lush green land, full of life. The rulers of the kingdom are lions, and this particular area is called The Pride Lands...
The new queen is named Kiara, who has recently ascended the throne after her father Simba decided she was ready and stepped down, with her beloved mate Kovu by her side. The war between the Outsiders and Pridelanders is over, but in the time that has passed since then, a new menace has entered their kingdom. The Cheetah People...
And yes, this makes very little sense in the DW-universe. I'm aware xD But it's fun =P
If you want to join, it's not completely necessary for you to be familiar with the Doctor Who-unierse. After all, the TLK/other-than-Cheetah-People-characters they'd meet would have no idea what is going on either
Just looking up the Cheetah People in the link I provided would be enough research for you to do :3
