name: Zamba
species: Lion
Gender: Male
Pride: Pridelander
Personality: very loving and obedient, and very sweet with the capacity to capture the coldest heart
description: tawny coat, amber eyes, very large
other: Zamba was a real lion. a man named Ralph got him from two friends who found him abandoned by the Zambia river, africa. Ralph started the first training called affection training because back in those days, wild animals were trained through fear and anger. Zamba became a big movie star. a common movie to see him in are the Tarzan movies and a movie called The Lion. Zamba and Ralph struggled through their lives, but Ralph changed the world's methods of training from fear to love so that these wild animals would obey because they loved the trainer and wanted to do what they were asked to do, not because they would be whipped otherwise. to read the full story, get the book by the same title by Ralph Helfer. Zamba died after eighteen years of a very happy life.
