Physical Description: His natural build is lanky and leanly muscular. Because of the harsh nature of his life as a rogue, he is scruffy and slightly underfed. This, along with his already long, thin face, gives him a rather gaunt, concave look. His voice is dark and gravelly, as though someone scrubbed his throat with sandpaper, but it can turn honey-sweet in a milisecond if you've got something he wants. Like many Pridelanders, his fur is tawny in color, and his mane a dark auburn, which complements his bright blue eyes. And it is his eyes that most of his victims trust-- clear, sky blue and deceptively gentle. He is past his prime, but could be rather good-looking, if he lived a healthier lifestyle.
Personality: A narcissistic individual who believes he has been extraordinarily endowed in the intellectual department. Extremely manipulative, even from a young age, he has no qualms about lying and cheating to get his way. However, since he lacks in muscle, endurance, and agility, he has not yet acquired himself a pride-- which bruises his large ego terribly. He is also something of a coward when it comes to physical combat, and often walks away from a challenge rather than attempting to fight. Still, he is a resourceful, cunning opportunist, and once he honestly and passionately desires something, he will do to whatever it takes to get it.
In conversation, he is a clever chameleon, able to change faces as one changes clothes-- sometimes he is sweet, sensitive, and sympathetic; other times a wise and protective friend... but all these acts conceal his true personality: Lazy, conniving, caustic, and incredibly selfish.
Still, he also tends to be a bumbler; more-so now that he has Zuzu (his self-appointed "sidekick") to contend with. However, his relationship with the idiotic Zuzu casts doubt on the 'fact' that Bahari is completely evil-- for he did save the unfortunate creature's life.
History: Bahari was born in the Pridelands, near a watering hole (hence his name), a little before Simba's time; and left his pride when he came of age. Growing up, he lost most of his friends due to his dishonest behavior, and (aside from Zuzu) remains alone to this day. Unable to claim a pride of his own, and past the prime of his life, he is now obsessed with wresting a pride away from another... and has found his chance in the weak, sickly old king of the Grass Walls Pride. Now, he lays low in the Grass Walls Territory, near the desert, waiting for the proper time to strike. However, the arrival of another, younger rogue in the territory has threatened his plans, and he must devise a scheme to do away with the obstacle....
PostRP: After the events of "The King of Grass Walls", Bahari has honestly turned over a new leaf, and is trying to live peacefully alongside the pride he once attempted to conquer.
