Ashiki

Name: Ashiki
Nickname: Ash
Gender: Male
Species: Lion
Description: Sand-colored fur, with a black mane. A bit more toned than the average lion, with a larger build. Green eyes. Scar down the left side of his neck, though it is covered mostly by his mane.
Personality: Ashiki is often a soft-spoken lion, though this is not out of shyness. Very task-focused when he actually has things to do. Willing to die for his Pride if things come to it. Also can be somewhat of a womanizer if he wants to be. Ashiki is also a good listener/advice-giver and has exhibited some possible seer tendencies in his past, though it is unsure if he truly possesses this power or not.
History: Ashiki was born to a small pride of rogues. After becoming old enough to fend for himself, he decided to venture out on his own. Throughout his life, he visits many different prides and stays with them for a time, though for many reasons not staying forever. (I say this only so that I can use him for multiple RPs if necessary. ^^) Though he is not a shaman, Ashiki is very skilled in medicine-making and knows how to cure many ailments.
Picture: might have one eventually. ^^

Nice character.

Is Ashiki a derive of Ashaki (female swahili name with the meaning beautiful)?

Aw, thank you guys! <3

And Lodrill, yes, you're kinda on the right track there. I can't recall exactly what the literal translation was when I searched it at this point, but it was something quite similar.
