(My main character, her story is pending, she's an old concept recetly re-invented if you will and so I'm starting from scratch)

Name: Lanai (yes I know it's more Hawaiian than African )
Species: Cheetah
Gender: female
Pride: She tags along after her mother
Personality: Curious and slightly adventurous, in that she is always investigating new things, she is also cautious around things that could all out hurt her, like full grown buffalo and such. Polite and courteous to adults or any deserving it that she meets. If you do upset her though, she's liable to remember it until you make up or she feels your actually sorry.
Description: Basic cheetah spots. Blue eyes. She's just under Nala and Simba's ages and so for first movei time frame anyway has that fluffy mane that I believe female cubs are born with too
Other: (anything else we should know about your character?) In terms of her relationship with the pride, she has been known to occasionally drop by and see if any cubs want to play. Tends to feel most comfortable around Nala, but will talk to others and is nice to Simba and/or others, but if asked, her private opinion that she most likely won't ever tell you is that the "lion prince" takes himself a bit too seriously 
Mate: Still undecided on if she finds one or if she's still just an alone wanderer in SP timeframe. Accordingly, cubs haven't been decided either.

Yay, I love characters that intersect with canon! What fun.

She's a very appealing one, too. I love the more understated, quiet/polite characters that yet aren't afraid to keep their own personal opinions, either. And it makes total sense that a more delicate cheetah would be all about curiousity and figuring *out* about the things around her first versus a bombastic lion cub like Simba.

Have fun with her, she's a very enjoyable character!
