I had another one of this but when I woke up this morning I decided to scrap it as I hated it even after colouring it. I had spread out doing it over days and that doesn't work out as well most of the time. This was one of those times. I am happy I went back as this one looks much better.
Anyway I hope you like it and thank you for doing the art trade with me. I loved seeing Nzuri in someone else's style.

(For the next couple of weeks I am shutting down my art trades now that I am caught up. I will see about reopening them in a bit. I just have two VERY busy weekends at work coming up. Next weekend being Mother's Day and the following weekend being the holiday weekend for us. I also have to have some medical stuff done I am not sure how I will feel after. So to be safe I am going to not take any new art trades for a few weeks til things calm down.)
I love it!!! Thank You so much. (and you remembered the ear rip) She looks so serene and dignified on her rock. The pinkish purple clouds are great too
Okay, it may sound weird, but I enjoyed doing the ear rip. Not sure why... I guess when it was done I looked at it and liked it. I think it is a neat little character feature for her. I had it as just a blue sky with the white clouds for the whole time up til the end. I though it looked too plain. I love that sort of sunset or sunrise looking sky.
The ear rip is a symbolism for a part of my life that was pretty bad for me and also my resilience. Basically before I was adopted from Russia I was in an orphanage there and the people who worked there didn't treat me right. That is why Lamb has a rip in her ear. Sorry for the sad story
Aw, I am happy to hear you have really overcome that hard start. You are a strong person to have done so and it is good you continue to show that in life. Such a great character for you. I like it. It is subtle but meaningful. I am glad I added it in.
