The moment Raven didn't kill the hyena pup she knew she would regret it. For from that moment on, where ever she went the little nuisance followed. A motor mouth, the pup called himself Tim, always talking about his mother and how she called him "Tiny Tim." It was always 'mother this' and 'mother that' and 'and this one time..' Raven should have offed the pup when she had the chance. And when the desert failed to claim her life she knew this situation would grow more an more permanent. Half of her was tempted to chase him off, but when that excellent nose of his lead them to water, she knew his worth as an individual; despite being so young. But she refused to grow close to this pup, recognize it as an equal. She would tolerate him.
