The Outsiders are a pride of lions that were banished by Simba to the Outlands for their loyalty to Scar. The Outsiders only appear in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. The leader of the Outsiders is Zira, who is the mother of Kovu, Nuka, and Vitani, and the only one of the exiled who is confirmed to feel loyalty to Scar. At the end of the movie, all of the remaining Outsiders are allowed to rejoin the Pridelanders after Simba realizes his mistake, thus dissolving the Outlanders pride.

Physical Attributes

Some Outsiders have distinguishable characteristics, like Dotty (left)

While the lionesses in Simba's pride have a golden colored fur, the lionesses from the Outlands have slightly more muted and dull fur tones and are much thinner than the lionesses in Simba's pride, possibly due to the fact the Outlands have "little food... less water..." (as stated by Zira).

Throughout the movie, some of the Outsiders have been shown to have unique facial markings or small scars. Two such lionesses, known by fans as Spotty and Dotty, have a distinct pattern of spots under their eyes, making them readily discernible from their fellow Outsiders. Other lionesses with unique facial features have also been seen. One, known as Scruffy, has tufts of fur around her neck and head. Another, known as Beauty-Spot, has a small spot on her lower right chin. Others have been seen to have tufts of hair similar to Vitani.
