Sir Elton Hercules John is a british composer, pianist and singer. He is one of the world's most successful musician of all time. He is known in almost every country and has fans from all over the world. He had countless number-one hits and is still active in music today.

Biography

He was born in London, England in 1947. At the age of eleven he began to go to college at the London Royal Academy of Music. Six years later he founded his first band. In 1969 his talent was discovered by a publisher in London. He then started to sell records. In the 1970s and 1980s he had several hits. After he took a break he came back at the begin of the 1990s. Tim Rice suggested Elton John be invited to write the music for the film's songs. In Spetember 1991 Elton John joned the team. He created the music for the The Lion King Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. His version of Can You Feel The Love Tonight became an international hit, reaching #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the U.S. the song reached Gold-Certification with over 500,000 sold copies.
