When Scar realizes that it is Simba, he begins to turn the situation around.

Simba fights off several Hyenas on top of Pride Rock.

The lionesses confront the Hyenas.
Pride Rock begins to burn...
...as Simba finds Scar huddling in a corner.
The Hyenas overhear Scar telling Simba that it was their fault, that they were the enemy.
And then Scar attacks Simba...
...but Simba is too strong. He launches Scar off the cliff and into a pack of his friendly hyenas.
Simba roars on top of Pride Rock. The new King is announced.
The lionesses roar as well, accepting Simba as their King.
The rain puts out the fires.
The rain will bring new vegetation to the Pride Lands. The healing process begins.
A new cub is presented to the animals.
The parents, Simba and Nala, walk up with Rafiki to celebrate.
This cute little cub will be the future ruler of the Pride Lands.
