After not sketching anything in years, I don't think I did too bad. It looks like I got all the proportions right, although I was using a frame of Simba as a reference. I kinda screwed up the eyes and ears a bit, I'll see if I can do that better in my next one.



And this is after some simple editing in Photoshop.

Wow Regulus, that's an awesome drawing of Simba. Can't wait to see more.

I'm not sure what went wrong with Nala's head this time, although I managed to capture Simba's expression accurately.

I've found it helps to make the lines as crisp as possible, especially with the highly detailed areas. I was impressed enough with this one to try shading it, although my hatching techniques could use some improvement.



This one turned out even better, although there are some inconsistencies with the line thickness. Simba's right paw seems a bit too dark in the picture, although it isn't as noticeable of a difference on paper.

This was much harder to draw than it looks. It probably would have helped to make it bigger.



I have no idea what happened here. I don't remember Simba looking like that while I was drawing him. Actually, I thought Nala looked worse, although in the picture she looks fine.



And this is my attempt to redraw Nala. This was also much more difficult than it looks. There aren't many lines, but that's what makes it hard. There is very little to reference, and with Nala, just a slight distortion is enough to make her look wrong.

Kewl draws!, keep drawing to improve a bit more =), the Simba and Sarabi's one was really gewd ^^
