Warrior Cats Roleplay with Zoketi [Private]

[Yay, roleplay with my friend Zoketi! I'm going to have to remember to call my cat Lilykit instead of Lilymist for a while. =P]

Lilykit yawned and stretched, her tiny pink mouth open. She was the youngest of her litter and the smallest. She had frost- white fur with just the tiniest pale tan spot on her back. Her tiny, fluffy white paws were kneading at the soft earth beneath her. Her short, stubby tail flicked once and her rather large ears flattened against her head.
Her white fur was damp and her pale pink nose was sniffing, trying to guide her to her mother's belly. She had just been born, the very last of her litter. She shivered and let out an almost inaudible squeak. Where was her mother?

The firstborn kit, white with orange markings on her head and tail, let out a tiny trill and scrunched the ground with her claws. Although the eldest, she wasn't the largest--that description belonged to the middle-born, Sparrowkit. A small nose reached out, drawing in the scents. Littlekit shook her head, jaws open to taste the air. Warmth was close.

Whitedeer watched her litter with utmost happiness. Slightly worn from the birth, she was leaning gently against her mate, Scorchblaze, whose hazel gaze was filled with equal delight. She flicked her tail around the three kits, nudging them close to her stomach so they could nurse. "Perfect," she whispered towards the tom, who nodded his head slowly. The medicine cat was sitting nearby, cleaning up the supplies he'd brought--raspberry leaves, borage, and some others Whitedeer didn't know. Bluestrike eyed the two proud parents for a moment, then departed the nursery.

[I love how you said: ELDERS: No one cares. For some reason that cracked me up. X'D]

Lilykit mewed ever so softly. Her ears flicked as she started to nurse and slowly felt her damp fur drying, helping her warm up. She had smelled a stranger cat in the nursery, one whose pelt was "stained" with strong scents. For some odd reason, though she was still a puny kit... those faint scents intrigued her.

Lilykit kneaded gently at her mother's belly with her tiny paws, as all kits do when they're first starting to nurse. Despite being blind and deaf at the moment, for she was just a newborn, she could smell. And throughout her mind, she felt almost drawn to the scent of the strange... plants?

[oh xD lololol. I'll probably add some filler cats in there later. We're gonna need warriors too, mostly mentors for Little and Sparrow.]

Whitedeer purred as the kits began to suckle. She lowered her head and stroked her tongue across each one's head, smoothing the fluffy drying kit fur. Then she glanced back at her mate. "I could use some water." she meowed quietly, and with a nod Scorchblaze got to his paws and slipped outside.

Littlekit happily began to drink the warm milk, feeling the comforting presence of her two siblings beside her, and her mother right in front. If this was life, then she was content. For now. But she had a feeling there'd be more. Her stubby tail flicked out.

The other queen in the nursery, a grey tabby named Dovetail, had two kits of her own: Shrewkit and Fogkit, both tabby toms. They were three moons old. Dovetail approached, her thick tail pushing her kits back so they wouldn't thunder over and disturb the newborns. After a moment, though, she let them slowly creep closer to see.

Lilykit seemed to sense some other kits approaching slowly, which frightened her. She stiffened, not moving one bit. Her white fur pricked and she very slowly tucked her paws under her chest and kept her head low, as if that would protect her from the strangers approaching. She shivered slightly and whimpered softly.
Fright made her fur stick up even more than it already was from being startled. She suddenly stopped suckling and covered her muzzle with one paw, keeping the other paw tucked under her chest. For some deranged reason, the kit felt like if she covered her face, curled up, and didn't move, she was impossible to find. Of course, she was rather clumsy, being blind and deaf, only being able to sense the approaching kits by the vibration on the ground.

[She's not supposed to seem like some superkit, she's VERY skittish.]

Whitedeer glanced over as the older kits approached, then back to her litter when she felt one kit shift. Her tail tightened around the three. Littlekit seemed less fazed, almost curious, for she lifted her head to sniff the air and then sneeze. Whitedeer gave Dovetail a look, and the other queen nodded with a small smile. "C'mon." she murmured to Shrewkit and Fogkit. Shrewkit followed obediently, but it took a little tug for Fogkit to go. They settled down on their nest, and Whitedeer turned back to her kits. She bent down and gently nuzzled Lilykit. "Don't worry," she cooed.

A moment later Scorchblaze entered with a dripping-wet moss-ball. Whitedeer licked her muzzle and pricked her ears as he came near and layed it down before her. She gratefully began to drink, pressing her muzzle against the moss. Scorchblaze sat down and fixed his hazel gaze on the kits. His normally stern demeanor softened before them.

[Aww, Scorchblaze will be a good daddy. XD I can tell. I CAN SEE IT IN MY EYES.]

Two moons had passed and the kits were, well, two moons old. Lilykit remained the smallest, but that didn't matter to her. She often sat under her favorite bush.
Though she was older, she refused to do anything that she considered "dangerous"- that included simple things like climbing trees and jumping from rock to rock, for fear that they'd hurt their heads or trip or fall. She had grown into quite the worrisome kit, not at all like some kits, carefree, playful.
She stretched out under the thin twigs of the bush. She still thought that the bush would protect her and hide her, despite the fact that it only had a few twigs covering her, and her fur stood out like a pine tree on a bare hilltop.

Littlekit sometimes she forgot she was just two moons old. Or more like, she pretended she was older. She couldn't wait to be an apprentice--as seemed typical. Though on the other paw, some cats forgot they were two moons and saw them more like a mere one moon old--due to the two sisters's little size--small even for WindClan. The white-and-ginger she-cat crept forwards, her tail twitching behind her over the sunny camp ground. It was a bright green-leaf day, and the Clan was at its usual busy activity. Littlekit waggled her haunches, then sprang forwards, landing next to her younger sister with a thud and nearly falling on top of her--but catching herself in time. "You're gonna grow old under here, Lilykit!" she sniffed, shaking out her fur. "And you'll probably just become part of this silly bush and your fur will be leaves and your claws thorns. You don't want that, do ya?" she sat down, blinking her deep blue eyes at her littermate.

Lilykit laughed a little, not knowing whether her sister was teasing or not.
"I don't know," she mewed.
"Oh, what do we have here?" Sparrowkit's sneering voice appeared.
Despite the fact that he was younger than Littlekit, he was quite the bully. He was bossy, ignorant of their feelings, and sometimes even a bully, dare Lilykit say. He had grown close to Fogkit and Shrewkit, and sometimes, just because Sparrowkit was rather large compared to his sisters, he'd taunt them about their size.
"Hey," Sparrowkit smirked. "Littlekit, did Lilykit poke you with her thorn-claws? 'Cause she doesn't look all that... sharp." He seemed really proud of himself for coming up with that tease. "Honestly, Lilykit, you should have been called Bushkit instead."
Though Lilykit knew he was just teasing- well, she hoped- it still hurt that he was indirectly calling her dumb and calling her Bushkit. She frowned and hunched her thin little shoulders.

[Sparrowkit's sort of a meanie to them because of their minute sizes and stuff. He's a lot bigger. XD]

[lol yes xD also note; shrewkit's sorta-kinda-not-really a bully, he's more quiet and moody than actually mean. he'll just glare most of the time. fogkit I think will be more like sparrow ]

Littlekit glanced over as she heard the familiar voice, and her muzzle wrinkled in a frown as her eyes fixed upon their sibling. She lowered her ears against her head and made a scoffing noise. "No! You wanna see how sharp they are? Come closer, I dare you!" she hissed in response, tail swatting across the ground. She was the braver one, who stood up for her sister and spat sharp comments right back at Sparrowkit. She hoped he'd grow out of this cruel stage eventually. "And you should have been called Failkit because you're words aren't doing much. Go away!" she sniped, getting to her paws. She knew it was sort of a lie, because it obviously stung Lilykit, but she didn't care.
