Warrior Cats Roleplay with Zoketi [Private]

Lilypaw smiled back at her sister. "Has Tawnystar taught you any hunting tactics?" she queried, flicking her ear. Her pace was a bit more hurried to catch up with Littlepaw and the others. She didn't want to be left behind. But had Littlepaw been taught any hunting skills or techniques? She certainly herself didn't know the first thing about hunting, but she hoped her sister did. Stalking and pouncing were about the only things she knew about hunting prey, and any cat knew that, even kits did. Those were the two simple things, but she didn't know whether to keep downwind or upwind- whatever those two words had to do with hunting. She knew what they meant, of course, but how were they connected with hunting, she wondered?

[Ugh, would have replied sooner, but yaaay, my stupid internet went out.]

[Ewie, hate when that happens.]

Her sister seemed to have been thinking similar thoughts again. Littlepaw flicked her tail. "Yeah, a little." she mewed in response, bobbing her head as well. "Why?" she added, merely curious to what her sister had been questioning for. Not that it bothered she white apprentice. Littlepaw glanced ahead at Owlscreech and Beetlepaw, who'd joined in conversation together. The apprentice slid back so she was walking next to her sister.

Lilypaw shrugged. "Just curious. Glad that Tawnystar's teaching you more stuff," she purred. Beetlepaw and Owlscreech were talking about something like getting apprentices of their own, or something like that... "Bluestrike's taught me a lot of things," she meowed. She was glad that Bluestrike never let her slack off or anything- she liked learning more and more about herbs and healing and communicating with StarClan, she found it very interesting. She hoped her sister was enjoying battle training and hunting lessons.

The ginger-tailed she-cat grinned. "Me too." she rumbled, lifting her head with pleasure and waving her tail in the air. She let her steps grow bouncy again for a moment before she calmed down, glancing to her sibling. "Yay! You'll be the smartest cat in the Clan soon!" she chirped, flicking her tail gently at Lilypaw in a playful way. She admired the medicine cats for their abilities, knowing about so many plants and how they could be used to heal and save lives. It was something she didn't ever think she could possibly do, and she was proud of her sister for being able to.

Lilypaw felt a little embarrassed but happy at the same time. "Thanks," she purred. She admired warriors for their bravery in battle, for their courage when facing enemies and their strength when they fought. She didn't think she'd ever be able to do that- claw another warrior on purpose or have to sink her teeth into a rival cat's fur, and she felt proud of Littlepaw for having the courage to do that. Littlepaw wasn't afraid to leap into battle to defend WindClan, and her sister wasn't afraid to challenge a cat who thought it was okay to take a step over the wrong side of the border. Her ginger-tailed sister wasn't scared to use tooth and claw on a rival who attacked their Clan.

[ Sorta. ene Long day today so I'm all bleh. ]

The apprentice bobbed her head, tail swishing behind her. As the sound of the lake grew closer, Littlepaw picked up her pace, rushing forwards to peer around Beetlepaw and down the slight slope towards the lake. It was still swollen--the tufts of grass that stuck out of the water showed her that it was still fuller than normal. But she thought it had shrunk a little since her last visit, which was good.

[Yeah me too :c]

Lilypaw smiled in relief at the lowering tides of the lake. There was no more risk of flooding- that was good. Finally the Clans might be at peace. But at what cost? How many casualties had there been in each Clan? Cats could drown, they could be hit with a collapsing tree limb...
Shaking those thoughts from her head, she stretched and picked up a small horsetail plant. She guessed she and Bluestrike had missed it on their first "expedition" for more healing herbs, after all, their search for the plants was very short.

[ Hate three hour labs x.x ]

"Let's hunt here." Owlscreech decided, coming to a halt. "I scent a nest of rabbits nearby." Flicking his tail, the tom nodded to the right. Littlepaw blinked, and trotted forwards, stretching to peer through the grass. "Beetlepaw, you loop around that way, and Littlepaw and I will chase the rabbits to you." The warrior continued, nodding to the oldest apprentice, then to the dark-blue-eyed white apprentice. Littlepaw nodded her assent.

Beetlepaw nodded. "Okay," he meowed, flicking his tail across Littlepaw's flank in a friendly way before moving around to the direction Owlscreech pointed at.
Lilypaw hurried off to the side. She didn't know the first thing about hunting, so she'd probably just mess everything up. She set her horsetail plant down and watched, making sure she was downwind- perhaps that kept her scent from drifting towards the prey? Either way, she wouldn't ask questions.

Littlepaw grinned slightly as Beetlepaw trotted off, then looked back at her sister, the one cat who wouldn't be participating. She twitched an ear, then looked towards the brown tabby warrior. Owlscreech tensed, peering over the grass to make sure the older apprentice was in position. Then he looked to Littlepaw, and took off. Littlepaw darted after him, heading a little to the right. The three rabbits in sight fled away, straight towards where Beetlepaw was.
