Warrior Cats Roleplay with Zoketi [Private]

Lilykit mewed and sniffed the air slightly. She had grown, but not much, maybe just a tad bit taller, but she certainly was not muscular. But Sparrowkit had grown; he was already much taller and more muscular than Littlekit and Lilykit; and he had already been taller and stronger than them in the first place.
Lilykit would still be smaller than her sister and brother, but she would never let that get in the way. Just to think; she could become Bluestrike's medicine apprentice! She had agreed to the law of medicine cats; no kits, no mate. What would that concern her anyway? Like Sparrowkit said, which had also resulted in her going to the medicine den, days after the time she spent with her sister, no cat would ever want to be in a romantic relationship with her.
Oh, well, it wasn't like she ever intended on having a mate; along with Sparrowkit's hurtful words of no one ever wanting to be with her, she had never taken a romantic interest in other cats. Not like it mattered. Kits were not her thing. But she always wondered, did Littlekit ever want a mate?"
"Littlekit," she began. "Do you ever want kits of your own?"

[Also, can Beetlepaw's warrior name be Beetleclaw? I just thought it sounded kind of cool. XD]

[Lol, that's in ThunderClan. Tallrock is WindClan's thing. And I suppose. xP I had been thinking of Beetleswipe or Beetlefall or Beetleleap but whatever is fineee.]

She dropped her head and came to a halt at the stone's base, reaching out to tap her paw against it as if it was something special before drawing back and glancing over at Lilykit. Ears pricking at the question, the ginger-tailed kit gazed at her sister, rather taken aback by the question. It had been rather out of the blue. She sat down with a thump, scrunching her face. "Oh, ehh...I dunno. Maybe." she shrugged, pricking her claws into the soil to make little scratch marks. She wasn't really sure about that sort of thing. Perhaps she'd think more into it when she was older. After all, her opinions could change. She had plenty of time to think on it. "I suppose you won't mind not having any of your own, then." she mewed, eyeing her sister curiously. It wasn't a subject they talked about much.

[Actually, I like Beetleswipe. Let's stick with that. It's cool sounding. XD]

"Nah," Lilykit mewed, shrug. "I don't really want kits. And that's not necessarily a bad thing anyway, I can't."
She really didn't want kits of her own. But then again, she might change her mind. Even if she did, though, it wouldn't matter, she could never have kits.
She stretched. She was sure excited for tomorrow; she had thought about just napping out the day, but she could always stick with her sister. Maybe, just maybe, she could earn the tiniest bit of respect from her brother. And if Tawnystar became Littlekit's mentor, Sparrowkit should have to respect her.
Whether they were the apprentices of the leader, medicine cat, deputy, or just a normal warrior, he should have been nice to them anyway. But it wasn't like it mattered. They'd be apprentices, they'd probably be separated most of the time.

Littlekit bobbed her head as she listened. "Yeah." she sighed, leaning to one side. After a moment she toppled over with a soft thump, stretching out over the packed earth. Her eyes flicked up to the wide blue sky above, full of white clouds. A perfect green-leaf day. The kit yawned and lowered her gaze, tilting her head so she could better look at Lilykit. "I'm gonna miss sleeping next to you." she murmured sadly, but with the tiniest of smiles to show it didn't matter too much. She reached out a paw and kneaded the ground with it.

"I'll visit you as much as I can," Lilykit promised. "I'll be the best medicine cat I can be. And you'll be the greatest warrior you can be! Right?"
She didn't want to say she'd talk with her sister every day. She wouldn't have time for that and she couldn't bear to break promises. But she was confident in her sister; surely Littlekit could get on without her?
Any other time Lilykit would have just become a warrior, but every day of visiting Bluestrike made it impossible to push the tugging feeling in her chest away; she wanted to become a medicine cat.
And she was almost positive she had made the right decision. What if she was destined to become a medicine cat and she became a warrior instead? That wouldn't end well. Besides, she'd always be there for Littlekit, even if they couldn't socialize or train together. It would be better for both of them; Lilykit wouldn't be stressed out about not being able to fight, and Littlekit would be a good warrior.
Nonetheless, she had to agree with Littlekit, she'd miss hanging out with her, or playfully tackling each other, or just chatting with each other about future dreams and hopes.

Littlekit's eyes glittered. She knew her sister would be around all the time--this wouldn't be a separation. She smiled warmly, nodding her head as well for emphasis. "Right!" she quipped, her tail lifting up and quivering slightly. She rolled onto her stomach, lifting her head and giving it a quick shake to rid the dust from her ears. They might not be as close as they had been during their kit moons, but they'd never not be friends, she knew that. There'd be time for bonding once in awhile. Perhaps even Sparrowkit would come about and act nice for a change as he matured. Littlekit was hopeful that he'd grow out of his bullying antics. At least to just become passive around them, if not full-on friendly. She flicked her tail and sighed.

Lilykit thought similar things; what if Sparrowkit did stop his meanness? It'd be better that he acted emotionless towards them, but the bullying was horrible. It hurt her, but it also hurt Littlekit, she knew.
"Does Sparrowkit call you names?" she asked quietly.
She knew he probably had. But she had to know what he called her sister; just the thought of him hurting Littlekit made Lilykit furious, like she wanted to tear out a clump of her brother's fur.
Lilykit could stand being harassed. She was used to it. Hurt her feelings... whatever. But hurt Littlekit, and Lilykit went from her shy, timid, quiet self to a raging fuzzball.

They'd been thinking on the same lines. It seemed to happen a lot, a point that Littlekit found quite delightful. "Yeah, he does." she murmured, with a nonchalant flick of her tail. It bothered her, but not enough to really throw her off. She was good at turning her back and acting like she didn't care--which sometimes made Sparrowkit leave. But at times it did make her feel a bit upset.
Littlekit blinked her dark ocean gaze at her sister. "But it's okay." she assured her littermate, tilting her head to the side. "I mean, he's done it enough that it's sort of gotten old." she added, frowning across camp. She watched Fogpaw tagging after his mentor, Duskfeather, and the warriors Shadepelt and Leafwing as they headed into the territory for a patrol. The thought made her ears twitch in another flicker of excitement for what tomorrow held.

Lilykit narrowed her eyes at Sparrowkit, who was tagging along after Shrewpaw. She felt like spitting at them; both Sparrowkit and Shrewpaw. She bristled slightly and calmed down. "Ah, well," she mewed. She ignored her angry thoughts at her brother and flicked her tail. "Being an apprentice sounds fun." She knew that warrior apprentices had to clean out the elder's bedding; she had to as well. She wasn't necessarily going to look forward to that, but she wouldn't really complain.
She sometimes went to the elder's den; but not very much. Most of the time they'd gossip about Bluestrike's rumoured RiverClan heritage, and she absolutely despised it. She hadn't really talked with the elders much after the first time she heard them talking about his "heritage". She had wanted so badly to tell them it wasn't true, but she just couldn't. After all, it could have been true. But even if that was the case, she'd never look at Bluestrike differently just because of stupid heritage.
And Lilykit didn't understand. Why were Half-Clan cats treated so badly? It made no sense! It wasn't even the cat's fault; it was the parents' faults! So why were cats so mean to Half-Clans..? She felt like plucking some fur out of anyone who tried to judge Bluestrike because of his rumoured RiverClan heritage.
"Littlekit," she began, "why are cats so mean to Half-Clan cats?" She hated saying the word. She felt like there was some phrase out there that sounded more... polite than "Half-Clan". It sounded like an awful, rude thing to say.

The elder she-kit's gaze also locked upon their sibling for a moment, but then quickly looked away, not wanting to think much of him. Besides, if he spotted them staring he'd come right over and start his usual taunting. At her sister's words she brightened a little, and lifted her ears. "Definitely. I mean, probably the most exciting thing for me right now is that we get to leave camp and see the territory at last." she squeaked, uncontrollable excitement making her voice rise. She'd always wanted to escape camp and explore the world beyond. At times she'd thought about disobeying the rules and simply sneaking off, but her common sense kept her in camp, and honestly she was glad. She'd heard stories of kits scampering off during the night on adventures and ending up hurt or dead, and at the very least in huge trouble.

Well at least tomorrow she wouldn't have to worry about being cooped up any longer. As her sister spoke again she glanced to her, tail fluffing out in curiosity. For a moment she just considered, wrinkling her nose in thought. "Well...since it's against the code, they have to take out their anger on someone. I guess." Littlekit stomped her forepaws into the ground. She too had heard much of Bluestrike's possible half-Clan heritage. His brother Shadepelt was not gossiped around because there was proof he was full WindClan--therefore making him probably Bluestrike's half-brother. They were both born of a she-cat named Swallowflight, but she spoke nothing of a father when she had Bluekit, but moons later it was well-known that she had mated with a WindClan tom called Darkbriar to have Shadekit and Swiftkit (who'd died when she was two moons). With a sigh, Littlekit shook her head free of the thoughts. All of that information she'd gleaned from the elders' or the warriors, and she found it uncomfortable that she knew it sometimes, especially when she saw Bluestrike being the loyal, wise medicine cat he was.
