the small chocolate brown cub had wandered off to the edge of the pridelands exploring ignoring the path his parents had marked for him. Stalking a frog to the edge of the border river. He snarled playfully giggling to himself. He stopped and looked around. This place was gloomy and dark even with the baking hot african sun melting him from the inside out. Cautiously he nosed the slimey looking water on the bank of the river. Then thought better of it. He was beginning to feel a bit out of his depth here.

(Suddenly, a dark lioness shadowed him)
Are you lost little one?
(She grinned, showing a set of sharp white teeth)

Idir slowly paced along the river bank,holding a fresh slab of meat in his mouth. Clearly it was too heavy for the male outlander club and he was wobbling slightly from its weight. Spotting both of them from the corner of his eye, his eyes squirted. Aha!

"Mom! Mom! Mom! That's you, right?" He sauntered right up to them, dropping the heavy dead-weight next to the lioness. Of course, She couldn't be his mother, but it will work the same. "Oh hey, it seems you made a new friend!"
