Shenzi grinned inwardly. She got them every time. She watches them from a distance. Thy we're going to the Pridelands, and she was going to follow them. She thought about the gems in her mouth. 'I have enough anyway' she said to herself, and ran to Ed to return them.

In the distance Lannah saw shenzi coming back "Hey ED! Banzi shenzis coming back! Told you she wasent that bad!

by the time Ed heard them, Banzai had already found a bigger jackpot, so they both took it too Ed's den. Then Banzai left so Ed could put it in his vault. After he closed it he saw Shenzi approaching the door with the gems he foun earlier. "Came to return them eh?" He said.

'Yeah. I've got enough already. Seriously, though. Give it a break with all this smart stuff. They aren't really keen on you being part of our family. So maybe... act stupid'. She gave a hyena laugh and sauntered out if the den, not waiting for a reply

"Too smart pfft. there is now way to be too smart." said Ed under his breath.
"Don't worry about it Ed" Said Banzai trying to calm him down.
"I guess so, I think I'm just tiered night!"
"Ok night then Ed."
Banzai and Ed's dens were secluded from the rest because they were on the other side of the plains. They were build in the side of Mt. Ed, named after Ed himself. The dens had quite a hard safe in them, but only Ed and banzai had them. They also had nicely carved beds and pretty smart table and chairs to have breakfast on. there was also in Ed's den a study bench with drawers a cupboard and all. The top drawer had all different types of bones for different types of carving. Ed wrote all his knoledge drawn on stone bricks and locked them in his vault. The second drawer had 2 deferent sizes of semi-flat stone sheets, the thinkness being 2cm. One size is what we call A4 the other is A3. The third drawer had A2 sheets of stone brick. The Cupbord was never used.

Lannah slept with her mother the warmth was alot.
Around the den there were scattered bones but not that many.
Lannah always wondered why Ed comfined himslef away from his mother and her mostly.
Perhaps he was too smart for her.
But when Ed wasent around Shenzi was like a second sibling to Lannah

The morning arose and Ed went outside and climbed to the top of canyon pass. The Pridelands, and amazing sight. More animals than you can ever dream, not just antelopes who we have to bribe to let us eat them. he thought. The hyenas made an agreement with the antelope, that they will protect them, then they will sacrifice one of themselves to the hyenas.
Banzai came up. they both looked out at the Pridelands.

It was all quiet until Lannah awoke The highly energetic pup litlarry bounced over to ed disturbing the morning silence.
"Hey ed are we going yet? To the pridelands? Im soooooooooo exicted im gonna burst" *She let out a hyena laugh*
