Dixon heard her yells and bolted towards her. "Stay away from her!" As he pounced over her and on the infected before it could even get close to her. He tried to bite him and scratch him, but with a quick paw swipe, the cheetah fell to the ground with a groan. The blood spilled onto the ground and he moved Bianka quickly. "Go to Hiroshima. I need to clean up." As he walked away from her, only after licking the giant scratch on her shoulder.

He washed his paws in the river, right here Hiroshima washed his mane. He marked it on the ground, "Like before. No one drinks from this point or you'll die."

Bianka stood, quivering and staring at the dead cheetah and the puddle of blood that surrounded it. She took a shaky breath and bolted off towards Hiroshima, not entirely sure why Dixon had told her to. Maybe it was for her protection, but why did he care? Why did he rescue her in the first place? And the lick? Everyone still thinks I'm a cub, she thought, that was the only reason Dixon cared. She trembled as she approached Hiroshima and stared at him, blue green eyes wide and afraid.

Hiroshima nodded at Bianca seeing how frightened she was after that near miss, but was more worried of how that infected was able to get so close without him knowing. With a growl he glared at the other lions. It was there fault, they were distracting him from protecting this place.

Dixon noticed the growl and turned around with anger. "What? Are you mad I just took your job?" Snarling at him with angry eyes. "It's all of our job to protect eachother. Not just you." He spat, then walked into the jungle and climbed up a tree, keeping an arial view on the survivors.

Hiroshima snarled at the retreating figure of Dixon. It wasn't his job to protect them. It was his job to protect this land. A job that was handed down to him by his father, and his fathers father... The rest could die for all he cared, but this land would not succumb to the infected.

Bianka shrunk away from Hiroshima and Dixons angry words slonly, almost tripping over herself. She was scared, incontrollably do. She turned and ran, disappearing into the tall grass. She tried to stop but she couldn't. She slid to a halt as she sighted a small cave. She slipped in and cowered in the back, snarling.

Vex was silently watching the situation below. She was on a rock and watching all below her. She watched the cheetah die, then Hiroshima and Dixon bicker. The young lioness sighed.

You'd think we'd be worrying about more pressing matters than who's in charge She thought to herself as she sat there alone.

She hadn't clicked with the lions at all, though she knew they must all stay together. Turning around, she saw Dac behind her in the grass and smiled gently. She then looked up at Dixon in the tree.

"Did you get bitten?" She asked wearily.

Dixon smiled at her curiosity. "Gladly, no. And I'm happy that you or anyone else didn't get bitten either. I'd sacrifice my life for such caring lions in this group." Looking down at Vex, finally hoping to hold a conversation with her. "Fight the living, Fear the dead. Hun." Climbing down from the tree and placing himself infront of the lioness, who seemed tiny in comparison. "You seem like the quiet type my dear. What troubles you." Staring deep into her eyes, hoping to learn more about her. He wanted to learn much more about everyone in this group.

Vex looked up at Dixon, curiosity filling her eyes.

"Im not quiet, just weary. I have no more troubles than the rest of us here"She said gently, looking around at the others in the group.

"I just hope this place is as safe as Hiroshima seems to think it is"

Bianka quivered in the back of the dark cave. She wasn't sure if she was glad that someone hadn't come or not. She looked warily around and yawned as she crept out the small crevice. She couldn't hear the other lions' voices, thus she figured she must've run farther away than she thought. She then sprinted off in the direction she'd come from.
