A zombie apocalypse RPG.

A group of animals find eachother after watching the world turn to chaos. Animals begin acting like they are possessed by a strange disease. They find a small temple out in the wilderness which they use as defense against the zombie creatures tying to kill them. When they hear about a safe haven for all animals who are infection free, they must begin a dangerous journey across the land to find this haven and live in safety.

The snarling and screaming didn't stop all night. Trying to shut it out was nearly impossible and a young lioness cowered in a cave, her heart racing. It all started the morrow before. She had watched a zebra attack a lion... When did that ever happen. Still, she had seen a maddened look in that zebra's eyes and when the lion was bitten by the zebra, moments later the same mad look appeared in his eyes.

His body slowed and he began to snarl and foam at the mouth. What was it? A disease? Whatever it was, the creatures were most active at night and seemed to sleep during the day. Maybe they could see better in the night?

The young lioness had no idea if her family had been effected by this disease or if they had escaped. She'd rather not know. Leaving her family had not been on the best terms, so either way she wouldn't know if they were diseased or not. They would not be happy to see her either way.

Silence. The screaming and snarling had stopped. The young lioness sniffed at the air. The smell of death was less present, so she slowly emerged from the cave she was hiding in and boldly walked into the unknown.

Dac walked out next to Vex and looked around to see if any of those things are around. He looked to Vex an said good morning. Wonder what happened to that lion that attacked by that zebra. That never has happened before right. So which is it that we new to go? The question is where should we go?

Hiroshima snarled at the lion facing him. The infection that was spreading through the lands hadn't reached here yet, and he wasn't about to allow it. His father protected this safe haven and passed it down to him when he died. He glared at the lion who was trying to enter his safe domain. The lion was infected but refused to except it. So it came down to a fight. With a mighty roar Hiroshima sprang at the lion as quickly as his lithe body would allow him and swiped a paw against the other lions throat. His extended claws sunk into his skin easily, cutting his windpipe in half. Blood sprayed around him as he jumped back avoiding as much of it as he could. He glared at the now dying lion, then turned away to the pool ready to wash the blood off of him. The vultures could eat the lion without him being worried about more infection spreading through the land since they were immune to it somehow.

Vex looked to Dac and sighed. The small lioness was wise for her age and always tried to remain calm in situations such as this to give others strength. She looked up at the sun rising above them, somehow it looked dimmer.

"I guess we cover as much ground as we can today" Vex said. "Try to find other survivors who arn't infected and keep each other alive"

Vex began to walk slowly and silently through the long grass of the savannah. The open plains were dangerous, so she kept herself to the grass, running across open sandy areas.

A pair of amber eye surveyed the area. Ashanti, the leopard, was high in a tree. That was a pro of being a leopard, they could climb much higher than most animals other big cats of the area. Ashanti an adult, past his prime but still strong. He had a family once, before the infection started. One by one, they turned against him, and Ashanti even had to kill his own brother to defend himself. Sighing, the leopard climbed down, weary of his surrounds padded off, in search of something to drink.

Meanwhile, a teenage lioness named Kora was lost. She had entered some long grass and had no idea where to go. She was a determined lioness, so she bounded through the grass. She had a feeling none of those demented animals would be around, for the sun was out and they seemed to shrink away from it. The lioness had been told by her mother to go find somewhere safe, and she hadn't seen her since.

Hiroshima looked off into the distance, wondering if he would ever find another animal other than the vultures who weren't infected. He padded over to his den and sighed and he closed his eyes to catch up on the sleep he's missed over the past few days. Those who are infected don't usually make it here, but he had to be constantly aware, constantly on patrol for them.

Vex halted as she heard some rustling in the grass up ahead. She ducked down, her ears flat on her head. Fear began beating through her blood, but she kept her head and looked ahead. Her heart raced as she saw another cat, maybe a lioness up ahead. Was she infected? Was she alone? Vex thought as she began to walk towards them. Vex made a sudden, unexpected decision.

"Are you infected?" She called to Kora.

[UncoordinatedPisces]

Kora jumped violently out of fright when she heard another voice, a female one, asking her if she was 'infected'. She cowered back a little in panic,
"N-No, are you?", she called back, wondering who and what she was. She smelt the air, the wind was in the opposite direction and she couldn't pick up the animals scent. Nervously, she began to step forward.

Vex gave a sigh of relief. She wasn't infected. Another survivor. Somehow. The young lioness stood up slowly and looked up into the tall grass.

"We are infection free too. We won't hurt you" Vex said gently sensing the lionesses fear.

She looked back at Dac and gave a nod of her head as if to say it was alright.

Alright let's go and see. He was still on his toes. He is just shy and a very quiet lion. He just never knew what to say at times.
