Simba nodded. "And Zira had a role as well, it turns out. In fact, she even said to me when I was being blamed, 'What will your mother think'," he added.

"I'll tell you what I wuld've thought. That you ha nothing to do with it. and that the Den could use two throw rugs." Sarabi smirked.

Simba finally laughed. "That won't be needed. Scar is now dead and I banished Zira for attacking me. The only being left over from Scar's reign is Vitani, and she's one of us now," he said.

Sarabi sighed. "I Still think you were too lenient on Zira. You should've killed her just to be certain." Sarabi said.

Simba looked down sadly. "I couldn't bring myself to do it. I told myself in my head that I would be just like her and Scar if I did kill her," he explained.

Sarabi smiled. " Iknow, I'm proud of you for it too, I just hope it doesn't come back to haunt us." Sarabi said. Just then Mheetu nd Shugo ran up to Simba. " Simba where's Nala?" Mheetu asked.

"Is she ok?" Asked Shugo

"What about the cubs?" added Mheetu

"We wanna see our sister." Shugo insisted. Worry was writen all over their adorible faces.

Simba turned to his young brothers-in-law. "She's asleep. The birth was very exhausting. Rafiki says that she needs a good night's sleep. She'll be fine," he said.

"You promise?" The cubs asked, rubbing their heads up against the king.

Simba nodded. "Yes, you two, I promise. Just know that the act of bearing cubs is exhausting for a lioness and this is why she is resting right now," he said.
