I had a classic poor person's dish most recently. See we got one chicken, and roasted it the other night. Then, took all of the juice and half the meat and bones and saved that. Then today, the bones and meat were boiled in their juice with some water, the bones were removed, and flour was mixed with water to form dough. Then, dough balls were dropped into the hot juice with the chicken, until... boom. Chicken dumplins. Yum.
