I always liked the opening song of Simba's Pride, "He Lives in You", and one line in the song mentions the spirit of life, so I decided to make my username an anthropomorphization of that. You know, assigning human characteristics and qualities to a decidedly non-human entity/thing, and all that good stuff.

I chose my name because I love Zazu and I accidentally did my math wrong and thought 4+9=15...Yeah, I know that it's wrong, but still. The 9 comes from how many letters there are in my name.

Shadowfax has been my online name since I was 15. It comes from Lord of the Rings. Shadowfax is Gandalf's horse in the two towers and return of the king. I loved the horse and the character so kinda adopted the name since.
