High merchandise sales and a TV show aimed at preschoolers wouldn't be enough to interest me in a movie if I hadn't seen it before. But seeing as this is TLK and everyone who would watch it pretty much already has, I stand by my point that telling people to watch a film they've already seen is the only way to make an already phenomenally popular movie more popular.

I just want to help get more out of the movie we love, dont you? Im a TLK fan who loves to dig deep into it as much as I can, dont any of you ever feel that way? cause for my purpose is to show the important lesson TLK has to present and what the lion guard will teach the little ones, conservation and the great circle of life, that what I am all about.

Digging deep into it is not the same as making it more popular. We write fanfics and discuss the movie to dig deeper into it. Trying to convince those who don't care about animals and don't want to watch it and wouldn't like it even if they did to watch the movie and give it love is a waste of time. It's more popular now than it's ever been in my life. We get more out of it ourselves, forcing others to watch it and try to force it to be even more popular than it already is will just have the reverse effect of making people start to hate it.

And Simba's Pride gets plenty of attention. Just browse around dA or FFn.

That's only fun for me/existing fans - trying to have an in-depth discussion with someone who isn't enthusiastic about something like you are is no fun at all. Believe me, I know.
The best fanfictions/amvs/graphics come from fans (which there are plenty of - I thought that much was already clear tbh)

That's why I come to MLK and write fanfiction - and people who like TLK are the ones reading them. I don't really want non-fans to read them because in my experience with them they just come to the TLK section to crap all over all the stories.

The lesson/story of TLK is one everyone who has seen or even heard of the movie already knows, "Remember who you are."

I always saw the Circle of Life analogy as a lesson in respect, not conservation. I mean, that vibe was more present in Pocahontas. There's no humans in TLK, for one.
