First thoughts when i read the OP was "On no, why just why. Thats going to be terrible" but I've thought about it a bit more now and I'm interested to see how it works out. Fair judgment will be made after actually watching it and judging it for what it actually is.

I'm not sure how I feel about this

On the one hand, Disney has been doing well with remakes lately [The Jungle Book was good and had fantastic animation].

On the other hand....there's a lot that could go wrong.

But hey, I called it around the time I heard they were remaking The Jungle Book

One thing I want though, is for Jeremy Irons to voice Scar again.

I rather liked 'catch me if you can'... I haven't seen the terminal though.

The rest of the movies he has scripted are so-so but nothing completely terrible other than indiana jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull, whose problems were mostly things outside of the dialogue.

That being said, I wish they got someone... better. He seems fine for pulpy action films....I hope they edit a lot of the bad from the script and keep the good.
