History: Because of her mane, Nadira was kicked out of her pride with the other young males, despite being female, because the pride leader found it to be an "unnatural abomination" and a "bad omen"; as such, she now sometimes speaks with a deep voice, going by "Nadir" (the male version of her name) and pretending to be male. She has a strange fascination with "pretty" lionesses that stems from her jealousy of them for not having manes.
