Yeah, I've noticed this TV show before, It sounds pretty cool! But as a lot of users say, Kion is like Kopa, excepting that he's Kiara's younger brother, but still based on Kopa (that's what I think and supose)
By the way, it seems a really good show, only fact is that it airs in November 2015 already (in U.S.A.), so I have to wait until it airs here in Spain XD

I`m a little confused as to how old Kion is supposed to be. He looks older than Cub Simba was in TLK, but he`s obviously not a young adult as his mane has not grown properly yet. So is he like in a pre-teen stage?

Well, Kion with his little tuff reminds me of Kovu when he was a cub since he also had his tuff as well. I suppose he's around the same age Kovu was at the beginning of SP, in which they're both kids, but maybe a little bit older than Simba was in TLK due to already growing a mane. I never saw Kovu as a pre-teen because if he was, then his body would probably be a bit bigger and he was the same size Simba was before.

I know Kovu had a tuft when he was a cub, but when I look at pics of Kion he doesn`t look like a young cub to me, he seems closer to the teenage years so to speak.. he just looks bigger and more mature. But that`s just me, I guess, lol. We`ll get a proper esimate of Kions age when more pics are released/the film comes out.
