I never really expected Simba to have his original voice. Cam Clark always does Simba's voice outside the movies. But Pumbaa and Rafiki have never been recast. so I am holding out some hope. that they will be the same.

I also think it would be impossible for them to recast Mufasa. I mean who else could play Mufasa, but James Earl Jones.

Since Kion does not seem to have any of Nala's physical features, perhaps he will have some of her personality traits. Like Nala's intelligence.

I am cautiously optimistic that this show will be good, just don't hold it to the same standard of the movies that preceded it.
