Possible love interest/crush for Kion?

They mentioned a new character recently, it's a lioness cub called Zuri. She's supposed to be Kion's friend and a member of the Lion Guard. Rumors went around saying that she's the lioness cub on the front cover of the "Can't wait to be queen" book they're gonna release next year.

I wonder however, if she'll end up being Kion's possible future love interest/crush? I think that'd be adorable x3!

Her name even means "Beautiful" in Swahili, which would be appropriate if it ends up so.

Since this is a cartoon, typically the love interest for the lead male is the lead female. Since fuli is a cheetah that probably won't be the case but as they say, love will find a way.

I have doughts about this ever happening, an its a bad example of Lions mating with cheetahs according to my biology knowledge, it biologically doesn't work that well.

True but adolescent lions can have growing mane Mohawks, the question is how much logic will they bring into the education part about the circle of life, thats the main point of the show!

Despite the fact that I have seen Fan art that ships Kion And Fuli, I don't see Disney pairing these two. The Circle of Life is a them of this series. and a Lion/Cheetah relationship would defy that. Although I do think it is interesting that Kion's closest female feline friend is a cheetah. Especially when you consider his family history of having friends of the opposite gender. However it could be that Disney choose to give Kion a female friend to show that boys and girls can be friends, and they chose to maker her a cheetah to remove any possibility of their friendship becoming anything more than that.

I also think any romance for Kion may not be a top priority for writers, although from what we have been shown the low age of the target demographic might not hinder the writing as much as I feared.

As for Zuri as far as I know nothing official states that she is a lioness cub or even Kion's friend. All that is just fan speculation. Even though I think it is a good possibility.

Everything about the cover of the "Can't Wait to Be Queen", from the poorly-done background to the bad line work and questionable character design screams "fan-made" to me -- not to mention the fact that this book originally had a different title and a much better done cover. The only thing that wasn't changed was the summary, which doesn't seem to go with its current title at all, seeing how Kion (as far as we know) has no intentions of becoming queen.

Back to the topic at hand, though, at first I wondered if there might be a female lion cub that was Kion's friend (but only his friend, not a future love interest), but considering how unconventional Kion seems to be, perhaps Fuli the cheetah may fill that role instead. (It does make me wonder if there are going to be any other females in the series [of any species] around Kion's age, though. When I found out Beshte was a male, I thought Ono was going to be a female, but I was wrong.)

true, but unless it really happened in real life, I don't think Disney would defy natures rules and say look kids this is what we are doing, we are defying natures rules and putting a lion and cheetah together and having them fall in love, being friends with other animals is understandable like all other animal stories, but I don't see Disney having them fall in love. It would be shock to everyone think.
