O.K. then I can have some hope.
Okay Okay Okay.... Hold up.... I see no sign of kovu in the Character lineup.....
Kovu and Vitani are two names that are noticeably absent from any info we currently have. However I can't realistically see Kovu being left out, he is far to important of a character. Vitani on the other hand...Now her I'm worried about.

The original PR also left out mzingo who has been confirmed to be a character in the show by greg ellis aka his voice actor. They most likely didn't announce all the characters at once.
I think that, honestly the REAL thing i have been worried about, is the artwork. In the original TLK films they had a 2 dimensional space, represented in a 3 dimensional plane, I.E. simba walking behind an elephant, but then in front of a smaller elephant that is in the background, and NOT for instance, the camera moving in around simba you see? In most of the disney shows, however, they all seem to have just.... a 2 dimensional background, but then the characters are all bubbly and 3 dimensionaly drawn. I hope they keep the 2 dimensional aspect, even from the Gif they have of it, im not to sure the artwork is going to stick to the original films, but it really depends on whatever is cheapest, and most appealing for 3 and four year olds. What do you think? will the artwork stick to the originals? or go be like Princess sofia or even the peter pan spinoff?
Can some one please re-post the mini animation again? :fakeworry: . Look from what little animation we see and after I have studied it numerous times, its already looking good and smooth just as it did in the films

The animation is smooth, so far. The show also uses hand painted backgrounds. It's not like most american animated shows these days are much better. Shows like archer has good writing but dreadful animation. Ever since the simpsons went digital only it looks okay in stills but in motion it's stiff and boring.

Also i like how they are going for a semi-realistic anatomy for the animals. I hate the look of shows like steven universe, phineas and fern etc where everything looks so abstract.

Another thing is that judging by the gif it doesn't seem too far from tlk, just on a lower budget. The lion king was an hour and a half long but took 2-3 years to make. I think it's a miracle they could get it looking as good as it does on a much lower budget.

I think the animation will be very good, look here: http://www.canadiananimationresources.c ... ks-ottawa/

They are asking for the best and the most experienced animators, They are asking for people like Glen keane!
I will trust them on that, and hopefully the animation will be great!

Here is the animation: http://38.media.tumblr.com/3b7254397e1f ... r1_500.gif
It looks smooth, even his whiskers and eyebrows move on the lightest movement! So detailed.
I just don't like that sprinkle at the end, it's kinda... bothering.

As we have said, smooth, and as for the sparkle, um, I know without a dought, that is the pure element of Disney magic that they added in, it could just be part of the upcoming previews of the new shows and stuff, if it was added to the show then yeah, maybe I would worry, but if there is some kind of magic in the show, they better make it from Rafiki. in the Timon and Pumbaa show they added that Rafiki knew some magic with his stuff, anyone remember that?

It looks good so far, I just hope there won't wont be too much Disney magic
I remember an episode with Rafiki turning an annoying mouse into a monster... it was cool.

Animation quality is not much of a concern now, we know that they have the best animators and are working hard. Cheers!
but what about the story? I hope it's interesting.
Well they show us how kion made friends with all these animals?
