I just watched the new House episode on Hulu! James Earl Jones was awesome! He hasn't skipped a beat in his acting career. Definitely beyond any of the other actors in the show. I would recommend watching it :)

There could be no other voice for Mufasa, honestly. James Earl Jones has the deepest and most powerful voice ever!

Isn't that ironic,in one movie he's the evil father,in the other he's the loving father...:/

That what makes JEJ so brilliant...he can use his voice for almost anything!

He is also one of the reasons Mufasa is among my favourite characters...the power in his voice just makes him the perfect voice for a 'king'.
Can't imagine anyone else voicing Mufasa...I've tried!

Yeah, I'd have liked to see a bit more a role for Mufasa in TLK...but you can't have it all, and they had to make the movie no more than 90 minutes long, anyway, so they were pretty restricted.

I believe there could be no better voice actor for Mufasa ^^ Mufasa's character demanded a powerful and strong voice, and James Earl Jones provided that perfectly, you can just tell from the very first words that Mufasa speaks that he is not to be messed with thanks to JEJ :)
Definitely a great voice actor ^^
