" Shall we run for our lives?"
"Oh yeah lets."
*Both of them start to run*

I love that part in TLK 1 1/2. :P

That scene was just epic.
Simba always gets good ideas to ditch someone. (Wait a minute... Nala was the one who came up with the idea to ditch Zazu right? Oh well, they're even.)

I dunno... Basically I've always thought it interesting that for most of his life, Simba's most prominent male role models were these chuckle heads. But, watching Simba grow into the kind of king he was, they both had to have been excellent father figures since for the better part of his life, Mufasa was not there. Also, for two much smaller animals to take a chance and care for a top tier predator shows a lot of courage and compassion. I don't think these two get enough credit as far as basically raising Simba as their own. I've always tried exploring the dynamic between Timon and Simba especially, since Timon basically steps into Mufasa's role only a few months into Simba's life. Imagine that, a big scary lion with a meerkat for a father figure. =) Makes me smile.
