Oh I thought it was released earlier than that. I havent really gotten around to getting it myself. But it's not like they havent released legacy collections of every other movie. I just kind of expected that since its a big anniversary, they'd release more merchandise or something, ya know?

The lion king legacy collection was actually the first disney 'legacy collection' released.

Also the lion guard was announced as an anniversary thing. Iirc one of the higher ups at disney thought it would be a good way to introduce a new generation to the world of the lion king.

There wasn't anything major in Disney stores apart from the shirt online.
The legacy collection, well, we kind had the 'other version' for many years already (the bootleg kind of thing).

They also had a summer-long party at Animal Kingdom for the 20th.

I saw some Marvel ones and Nightmare Before Christmas ones on some feeds of people at Comic-Con.

Yeah, they had an adult Simba ornament and a Timon one (I don't think Timon was for the 20th though?). Either way, when I visited my local Disney Store, they'd sold out of all the Lion King ornaments and just had princesses and Chip n Dale. Didn't see the pins.

Anyway, when/if they do make TLK TsumTsums, think they'll do a Mufasa & Sarabi one?

Probably not. Most likey it'll be Simba, Pumbaa, and Timon. If they really feel like releasing more it'd probably include Scar like they did with the pop vinyls. Not sure if they'd even include Nala

Well since the Aladdin set is eight characters (one of them relatively minor), there's a possibility for any combination. I'd say Simba, Nala, Timon, and Pumbaa for sure. How cool would a set of eight with those four and Scar and the hyenas? I'd skip school to pick up a set. :p

it would make more sense to make a sarabi one there is only 3 plushies of her, and for mufasa whenever plush sets are released he is mostly in them
