I don’t get how this site is still around.

Unless Moka palmed the site off to someone else, I assume he's still paying for the server the site is on. AFAIK he basically vanished so who knows what's going on. Just read ancient posts and enjoy the history dude. You can watch a community coalesce and dissipate, it's pretty interesting.

Well, it really goes to show how a community depends on continuing to allow people to join.

I wonder what happened to Moka.

No idea. Someone must still be paying the server fees lol

If I had to make a guess, I'd say Telegram, Discord, Reddit etc happened. I suppose everyone migrated to those spaces, leaving this forum for the crickets.

Seems like time stood still since ages ago. Perhaps, it will be revived when Disney release new Lion King Series & Stuff.

I miss the old days. I lurk occasionally to read old fan fiction and role plays. Hopefully this server stays up for a long time.

Hopefully there will be a revamp soon and that this forum can stay alive, especially since next year is the 30th anniversary of the first Lion King movie.
I love the fanfic sections. Used to lurk as well before joining in 2019 I think.
