Does anyone else feel like the current avatar size setting for the board are a little too small / restrictive? I usually create 250X250 but even then if you search for anything less than that it starts getting tricky to find anything good to use.

Not a major complaint or anything but it would be nice to have (slightly) bigger avatar and sig dimensions enabled IMO

250x250 is quite sizable for a forum, and I would argue too big, especially width-wise as it would decrease the amount of space that actual posts/content take up on the page. Current limit is 150x150, which is somewhat larger than the avatar you're currently using.



Signature sizes, for reference, are supposed to be 350x590. This was a topic of some contention a while back.



I'm indifferent to the issue really, but I don't think the current limits are too restrictive. If people feel strongly, I can look into it! But not until you post in Hakuna Matata.

You can actually resize an image through the avatar uploader, just put in the dimensions as 150x150 when you upload it.

I kinda agree with Flip about the current avatar size feeling restrictive, especially since I tend to make mine flashy/animated. 250x250 is too large though imo. Maybe 175x175 could allow for slightly better resolutions without getting in the way of the actual forum posts. idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
