How do you bump a topic?

How are you supposed to bump a topic? Because after reading the FAQ I was not able to find the bump topic button. Does anyone have some answers?

Bumping just means the topic gets "bumped" to the top of the forum by replying to it.

But the FAQ said that there was a button that you could bump a topic with without replying to it

Looks like bumping is disabled.

I probably disabled it because it doesn't make sense. A forum where people can bump topics to the top without adding meaningful discussion takes away from the other topics that are actively participated in.

IMO there should be an option to post in a topic without bumping it all the way to the top. This might be useful for making additional posts to old guides or discussions when there's some information that should be added, but doesn't warrant incidentally taking up space on the first page.

Exactly like the "sage" option on *chan-style imageboards.
