MLK Community Support And Discussion [Facebook]

Hello guys just a quick announcement that I have started a Facebook group for the MLK community.
The purpose is to have it as a place that we can get to know each other as who we are, if that makes sense as well as having a place to get instant support / advice from fellow members and also keep track of events and all that good stuff.

One thing to note: anything you post inside the group will NOT be visible to anyone else on your Facebook friends list nor will they even know you posted anything at all. The only people who will be able to see, read and reply to your posts on the group page are fellow members. This means you can vent out your feelings on there and receive real time replies from your MLK friends, without worrying about your family hearing about (for example) your depression issues if you don't feel comfortable with them knowing yet.
Or you can just chat away and get to know each other, should help make friends and all that good stuff.


But aside from that serious stuff, it also makes it a lot easier to organize events as everyone who joins the group will receive a Facebook notification of the time, date and details as well as being able to RSVP in or out in advance. Useful for planning radio broadcasts, group chats on Skype / TinyChat, gaming sessions and just about anything really.

Once you join, your request to join will be accepted by an admin. You can invite any of your friends to join if you want, they don't necessarily need to be members of the site even but that does make it easier obviously, as long as they are like minded people looking to make some friends and have a good old time, go for it.

Impressed with the response so far to this: thanks to those who joined and have already started using it.
Will be soon be adding a co-admin to help out with the page and keep things tidy.
