The storage limit was increased from 50 to 350 when I installed the forum, so it's already generous. I don't really have a problem with increasing it to 1000 or something.

You can actually create additional PM folders - Each folder can hold a maximum of 1000 individual messages, and you can just keep creating more and more folders for virtually infinite space.

Yes, but there is a max of 5 folders. So, basically, there is a max of 6000 PMs per member (5 folders + inbox).
