A Clean slate

Hi.
Kind of a wild one, I am not expecting it to go anywhere at all but whatever, here goes.

Lets be honest here for a second, MLK as a COMMUNITY is an absolute shell of what it used to be and this is because of many different reasons, the first being drama that has occurred in the past, the 2nd being members who have been banned and thus people leave because of that.

So I propose a complete re opening of the forums, a fresh start for everyone!
People would have say, a month to come on here and make a copy / back up of anything they want to. After that, everything is DELETED, that way all of those stupid arguments, petty dramas etc... all of it, is gone.

And then, anyone who was banned, be let back and just literally a fresh start for the community?

I dont know, it just feels to me like the first step into reviving the "MLK spirit" is to admit its dead, we all think it but no one will actually say it. This COULD be a way to revive it, I dont know, perhaps edits need to be made to it first, we will see...

So opinions, hatemail, spam etc... Leave it all below and stuff.

I really don't understand how this would help. You're serious, right?

Ironically, this will probably cause even more hate and drama lol. MLK has always had drama and it's best to accept it and move on. It is the natural order of things.

Yeah... bad move. This will only cause trouble, and should not be implemented in any way.

Not only will there be many guaranteed cases of people not realizing that they wanted something until it's no longer there, but really this will only be a very clear proof that something was wrong, and will make even more people leave.

Honestly, this would be a TERRIBLE IDEA.

Not for any doom & gloom Debbie Downer reason, but because I've seen forums (again, Lea Halalela,) loose all their posts inadvertanty through site crashes--and the community has never re-blossomed after it. No-one wants to restart the same old conversations, so no-one simply posts much at ALL into vacuum/void created.

The MLK spirit IS dead, but I'm not sure how this will revive it. I'd personally like a new start, but I'm sure not everybody would appreciate that...

There is a certain person that left this forum that I honestly don't want to see back here.

Interesting idea, but I don't see how it would make anything better to be honest.

Yeah, it's not a good idea..

There are some members that are banned for a reason.
