I understand we used to have a Skype mod installed on the forum which allowed members to display their Skype username in their profiles. However, it was removed due to instability or something like that. I was wondering if we could have a Skype field for profiles, but just as a generic custom profile field with the existing provision in phpBB?

I thought about this too :/, I always wandered why all the messenger thingys are there but not Skype.

Sounds like a good idea to me, even if I don't use Skype at all.

Gives us another way of staying in touch with each other.

Sounds like a plan to me! Even though I don't use Skype hardly, I'm sure it would be useful to those who do!

I thought there was a Skype name field, ah well if there is not then yes we should have one!
