Post creepy music

Halloween is about a month away or so and who doesn't love a good spooky uneasy feeling every now and then?
There's something about scaring myself with a horror game or film that just feels so wrong yet so right.
And of course horror games or films would be nothing without a good old creepy OST to accompany them.

If you listen to any of the songs posted here, do it later at night in the dark with headphones on or else you are doing it wrong.
I'll kick off with a couple of my favourites, both are from video games (fantastic games you should play if you haven't yet)

First up is from a gem of a game for Nitnendo Gamecube called Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. This game was, well it was a thing alright. To be honest in retrospect it hasn't aged that well but what HAS aged well is the awesome sanity meter. Modern videogames that break the fourth wall by displaying fake error messages etc were certainly influenced by this.
As your character's sanity meter dropped the further you went on, the player's fears were bought to life including visions of having your save data deleted,it was awesome at the time and while the combat hasn't aged too well it is worth checking out for that alone.
And it had a genuinely great OST, the chanting in the background vocals made fit the scenes perfectly, here's one of them - track 2 - "the chosen" one of the first songs you hear in the game and it draws you in like no other, it isn't scary its just intriguing, it will make you curious to play the game and see what is going on while the song plays in game -

The next song is from... Well a Sonic the Hedgehog game of all things! This is the music for the boss fights of Sonic CD in the USA version of the game, because Sega hates you! This one is just straight up creepy, the demonic laughing and weird fusion of sounds just sends shivers down the spine.

And lastly, one of my favourite creepy theme tunes ever, The Mantis Hymn from MGS1. If you played it you will know about the Pyscho Mantis fight and if you haven't, you've probably still heard of it. It's one of the most defining moments of one of the most awesome video game sagas ever and this song that plays while he reads your mind with that accent and gas mask and all will forever stand as one of the most horrible feelings of unease ever for me.

That's enough to start off with, mine were from games, yours can be from films games or TV shows, whatever music you found disturbing and creepy.

It reminds you of being abducted by aliens?
When did that happen to you?

Ohhhh Lavender Town. I like that one, you should read the creepypasta about it. It goes that Japanese kids killed themselves when they heard the song, thus the one in the final game was actually edited and toned down as a result. Something like that anyway.

Speaking of which there's a creepy story about a hidden message in Sonic CD with that boss music and its actually true. Look up "Fun is infinite".

More creepy songs to come, keep the suggestions coming people!

A while ago when I was on my PS3. They came in and wanted to take me, but I offered them some Malibu and they left being drunk. And yeh, have heard of that before while reading the comments of a youtube video lol.

Meanwhile, I also find this OS quite creepy. It's from a horror RPG game called ''IB'' about a haunted museum
