THE song of the 90's

The first song I think of when I think of the 90's is...

Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground.

Yeah I know, I was only 5 when this song came out. Still I remember hearing it all the time and it's the first to come to mind for me.

I barely managed to witness the 90s (I was born in 1996) but for some reason there's a number of Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC songs that somehow sound familiar...

BSB:
I Want It That Way
Show Me The Meaning
All I Have To Give

*NSYNC:
Drive Myself Crazy (Thinking of You)
It's Gonna Be Me

And then, of course, there's the really obvious ones like Mambo No. 5 and All Star.

^ Deep down I'm still confused about you, oh yes I am, babyyyy~~~~

Ah, the good ol' '90s. Got the songs aplenty on my playlist, including a few megamixes.

The first one that came to mind this time was 'Saturday Night' by Whigfield. Such a '90s - play at the school discos - dance track. 8-)

Daft Punk - Around The World

Their very first album just revolutionized music, and this song was the biggest hit of the album.

The song that for me contains the entire essence of the 90`s is Flying high by Captain Hollywood Project. But among the best songs of the 90`s I`d pick Find the river by REM and Lucky by Radiohead.
