^ I suppose I can say, now that the contest is over, that Number 5 was mine. XD So thanks for the would-have-been vote. :P

That's true. And besides, this contest has some of the best stories I've read. Hard to win when your good story is going up against excellent stories, huh? :P

I liked yours. Thought the twist was clever. ^^ It got my vote.

I'm actually surprised. To be honest, this contest has probably been the most successful so far out of the ones I've seen and participated in, both in terms of quality and quantity. First I narrowed it down to four I liked, and then I narrowed it down to two for voting, and I almost chose yours. Ditto to TBCC's... I was like this close to voting for hers. >__<

I happen to know who wrote the winning submission... but I'm not gonna say. :P

Thanks. I really wanted to expand on the ending and tie up the loose ends, but the word limit killed me. I might upload an expanded version sometime. :)

Interesting. Think I might like to read that. :P The word limits annoy me to no end sometimes, though I suppose they are there for a reason. Especially when there are 7 stories to read (still can't get over that :kiaraexcited:).
