Caligo curled his lips at the hyenas, warning the two other males to go with the others before he made another choice. Caligo weren't a fan of hyenas, but he couldn't just send away a expecting mother. He wasn't cruel like some other male lions.
He looked outside, spotting the rust colored female. He leapt down from the rock, barely landing on the stone floor instead of the pool. He headed towards the river, slightly surprised to see the lioness. He ignored her and walked into the river, stopping when the water got to his mane and sat down, enjoying the cold water.
