Name: Lion Quest

Story: In this AU, Simba has retaken Pride Rock and banished Zira. However, Zira had Vitani (who at this point is a cub who has barely been born because Scar and Zira suffered through infertility up until this point) with Scar. Not wanting the innocent cub to suffer in exile, Simba and Nala adopt her as their own daughter and raise her alongside Kiara. Time passes and Vitani eventually reaches adulthood. One day, she overhears two of the lionesses talking and hears about her birth parents, leading to a fight between her and Simba in which she claims to hate him and runs away to find who she really is. She meets a new pride and a love interest. Among all this, Zira is seeking revenge. What will happen? Find out!

Simba had done it. He had taken his place in the circle of life. He had defeated Scar and cast him down. "It is done, Father. Our kingdom is ours once more," he said as he started to head back down.

Meanwhile, Scar hit the ground. Slightly dazed, he got up and encountered the hyenas. However, after what he had said about them, they were angry. After a brief talk, they set upon him and began to maul him.

However Zira and her hunting party attacked the Hyenas, driving them away. Zira helped scar up. " How did this happen?" Zira demanded of her mate.

Scar struggled to even get the words out. "Simba is back. He's an adult now," he said weakly, glancing at the lioness who was carrying the golden-furred female cub that Zira had just given birth to yesterday afternoon. "Simba looks just like Mufasa," he added.

"But my love he was killed in the stampede along with Mufasa." Zira said as she motioned for two lionesses to help Scar.

Scar shook his head. "No, he was not. It turns out that Shenzi, Banzai and Ed got a bit lazy in the end when it came to disposing of Simba," he said.

Zira snarled as she went to confront Simba. The now former queen saw Simba and struck him with her claws. "How dare you, you nearly killed your own uncle!" Zira roared as she attacked simba.

Simba roared, then turned and pushed Zira back. "I have no idea what you're talking about. What is going on?!" he demanded, looking at Nala and the other lionesses as they came on the scene.

"You nearly killed Scar, he is the rightful king, what ever claim you had died along side your father!" Zira sais as she Saw Nala holding her daughter. "Give me back my cub traitor!" Zira roared, charging at Nala.

Simba put himself between Nala and the cub and allowed Zira to crash into him, then pushed her back once more. "This is it, Zira. From this day forward, you and your followers are banished. Your cub stays with me to be raised as my own daughter. Take your followers and get out," he said.
