This is how I think Ahadi looks like in the book. I've noticed, that many people make his posture more scar-like. I'm seeing him as... scruffy Mufasa and Simba crossover with a little bit of Scar. I really want to stay with the book's description of him. Also, I don't really think he would ever hurt Scar. I mean, I think Scar is not supposed to be a dramatic character. He was mostly intimidating and sometimes even funny. Everything out of jealousy. My point is - I think Taka gave scar, to himself thanks to his own stupidity. He was whiny, spoiled little brat, who thought he is the one who should be a king because he is the best and stuff. Buffalo gave him scar in a book, but I didn't really read it and as far as I'm informed, it is only semi-cannon, so there is a possibility he gained his scar the other way - but I'll stick with it. Also, one thing I want to point out about Scar - I also don't think that hyenas have ever controlled them. I don't mean every hyena must be stupid in TLK universe, but it just looks... surreal to me. ESPECIALLY with Scar, who made himself look like Hitler for crying out loud. Which leads me to another point - Ahadi did not abuse him. I think he was good parent and Taka was just difficult. Yeah, yeah, he broke his promise to Taka, but! He did not do it just to [censored] with him. There was a reason for that. Well, that's all. I will not argue with anyone about it because this is just my opinion, how it looks like in my head. I have no proof to back up my rant because... why should I have? It is possible that Taka could have difficult childhood, parents may abused him, Ahadi gave him a scar, etc, etc. But I really don't like thinking about him as a dramatical character. For me he's just funny asshole. And I don't feel bad for him to die in a fire eaten by a bunch of hyenas. I'd love to add that there are many artists who can make even better story for all of this and even if I don't agree with most of them, I truly enjoy reading them if they are written good. I am not forcing anyone to believe that I'm right and everyone is wrong - oh god, no. This is only my opinion.
