Character Description

Name meaning: "pale"

Safura is King Mohatu's daughter and Ahadi's twin sister. She was born first but her brother was chosen to be the next ruler. Safura loves her brother very much and tries to protect him from everything... including a rogue lioness called Uru.

Safura and Ahadi's mother Asali dies while they're adolescents. Safura believes that Uru is only pretending to like Ahadi because she wants to become queen. However, soon after Mohatu's death, Safura realizes that Uru and Ahadi really love each other.

Safura has two daughters - Sarafina and Zingela - and three grandchildren - Kula, Nala and Mheetu. She dies during her nephew Scar's reign.
